DEVELOPMENTS FROM PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS REGARDING TECHNOLOGY

The Directorate of Communications published 106th issue of the Disinformation Bulletin. Accordingly, the news suggesting that the practice of limiting the increase rate in residential rents to 25%, which will end on 1 July 2024, will not be extended, does not reflect the truth. Also, the news about the refund of credit card fees starting with the decision of the Parliament is not accurate.
The latest issue of the KVK Journal, prepared within the Personal Data Protection Authority, has been published. The right to be forgotten, the obligation of data controllers to keep information confidential, and a comparative European Union legislation regarding personal data were examined in the journal.
